{"content":"On January 30, in Abu Dhabi, Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with Israeli President Isaac Herzog during Herzog's historic first visit to the United Arab Emirates. During the visit, President Herzog emphasized Israel’s commitment to supporting the UAE’s security and expressed a desire to see more countries in the region join the evolving normalization of ties with the Arab world. The UAE and Bahrain were the first Gulf nations to sign U.S.-brokered normalization agreements with Israel in 2020, known as the "Abraham Accords." These nations, along with Israel, share mutual concerns regarding Iran and its regional allies. Herzog and the Crown Prince discussed bilateral relations and regional security challenges. The visit followed two recent drone and missile attacks on the UAE, claimed by Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi rebels. In response, Israel has offered intelligence and security assistance to help the UAE defend against future threats. "We fully support your security needs," Herzog said during the meeting, according to a statement from his office. "We are united in finding ways to ensure lasting peace and security for people who seek stability in our region." Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed echoed these sentiments, noting that both nations share a “common view on threats to regional peace and stability,” especially from militias and terrorist groups. While the Israeli presidency holds mostly ceremonial powers, Herzog’s visit follows Prime Minister Naftali Bennett’s trip to the UAE in December. Notably, Herzog’s plane flew over Saudi Arabian airspace on the way to the UAE — a moment he described as deeply moving. Although Saudi Arabia has not yet formalized ties with Israel, there is optimism among Israeli officials that it may join the Abraham Accords in the future. "We must continue the path of the Abraham Accords and encourage more nations to join," Herzog added. #Write2Earn #dubai $MUBARAK $BNB $ETH ","images":["https://d2kdcqywr8ua22.cloudfront.net/uploadfile/article/blog/2025052025/05/25/3841288215744739b6a7cc95966d45cf.png"],"tags":[],"tradingPairs":["ETH/USDT"],"quotearticleid":0}
