{"content":"📉 ETF Exodus Begins — Bitcoin Suffers as Russia-Ukraine Conflict Escalates The Russia-Ukraine crisis weighs on crypto markets, which become risk-off. Spot Bitcoin ETFs lost $157.40 million last week, halting their weekly inflow run since mid-April. Bitcoin (BTC) spot ETFs had their first weekly outflow since mid-April, indicating a slowdown in institutional inflows. Market Overview: Russia-Ukraine conflict causes risk-off On Sunday, Ukraine launched its greatest long-range strike of the conflict, striking four airbases and destroying 40 Russian jets, according to BBC. Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky claimed the secret operation, “Spider’s Web,” employed 117 drones to hit 34% of Russia’s strategic cruise missile vessels. Russia called these strikes in five districts a “terrorist act,” BBC reported. On Monday, the two nations will restart peace negotiations in Istanbul. Negotiations are unlikely to stop the Russia-Ukraine conflict. As war tensions and geopolitical concerns rise, investors are fleeing to safe-haven assets like Gold (XAU), which hurts risky asset prices. Bitcoin institutional demand fell last week. According to SoSoValue statistics, Bitcoin spot ETFs saw a minor outflow of $157.40 million last week, breaking their weekly inflow run since mid-April. This outflow is weaker than February's. However, if this exodus continues, Bitcoin may drop sharply in the following days. Metaplanet, a Japanese investment business, bought 1,088 BTC on Monday despite Bitcoin ETF weakness. The company has 8,888 BTC. Meta, previously Facebook, shareholders decided against integrating Bitcoin to its financial sheet. However, SoSoValue data shows that Ethereum spot ETFs saw a weekly inflow of $285.84 million last week, the largest since mid-February, and three straight weeks since mid-May. If this influx continues and accelerates, Ethereum may rebound in the following days. #SaylorBTCPurchase #TrumpMediaBitcoinTreasury #PCEMarketWatch #MarketPullback #CEXvsDEX101 $BTC $ETH $XRP ","images":["https://d2kdcqywr8ua22.cloudfront.net/uploadfile/article/blog/2025062025/06/02/0a0f595a5163414fa18355d4d93c2eb4.png"],"tags":[],"tradingPairs":["XRP/USDT"],"quotearticleid":0}
