Hoping to bullish soon
The United States and the European Union have agreed on a new trade deal after talks between President Trump and EU President Von der Leyen in Scotland. The US will now put a 15% tax on EU goods, instead of the 30% Trump had planned. Some American products will enter Europe with no tax.
Von der Leyen said the deal will bring stability. Trump called it a “good deal for everybody.” The EU also promised to invest $600 billion in the US and spend $750 billion on American energy like gas and oil to reduce its need for Russian energy.
Some items like aircraft parts, chemicals, and some farm goods will have no tax. However, Trump said a 50% tax on steel and aluminium will stay. Both leaders said the deal is a win, though it seems the US may benefit more. A separate deal on computer chips might come soon.","images":["https://d2kdcqywr8ua22.cloudfront.net/uploadfile/article/blog/2025072025/07/28/d65992ec0014164e2a9fd94676601b5c.jpg"],"tags":[],"tradingPairs":[],"quotearticleid":0}
