The hope for a peace deal didn't pan out, and in my opinion, that's exactly why we saw a dump across the crypto market. The uncertainty is still very much in the air, and until that clears, markets will remain on edge.
But let's put things in perspective. Back in Q1 2022, when the war first started, Bitcoin was trading around $45,000. It's now trading above $115,000. This tells me the war itself wasn't what crashed the price. Instead, it's the constant back-and-forth, the hope and then the disappointment, that creates volatility.
I believe this uncertainty could be with us for a few more weeks. Until we get a solid resolution, expect the market to be a bit of a P&D playground. Stay sharp, and don't panic on the short-term noise. The big picture is still what matters.
