Ripple (XRP) has officially entered the top 100 largest global financial assets after reaching a market capitalization of nearly $180 billion, surpassing names like Allianz, Accenture, and Boston Scientific. This makes it the third cryptocurrency, after Bitcoin and Ether, to join this elite group.
XRP has surged since the U.S. elections last November, climbing from below $0.60 to an all-time high of $3.65 in mid-July and currently holding around $3. Although its market cap is below the $210 billion peak, XRP achieved this milestone thanks to price growth and corrections among some public companies.
Alongside its price rally, Ripple is nearing the conclusion of its lawsuit with the SEC, spent $1.25 billion acquiring prime brokerage firm Hidden Road, launched the RLUSD institutional stablecoin, and drove broader XRP adoption, including institutional reserves. Analysts expect the potential approval of spot XRP ETFs in the U.S. could be the next catalyst.","images":["https://d2kdcqywr8ua22.cloudfront.net/uploadfile/article/blog/2025082025/08/23/54a6f188879f46d08f929a8f285b7c9a.png"],"tags":[],"tradingPairs":["ETH/USDT"],"quotearticleid":0}
