{"content":"Prayers for Nepal. So far, more than 19 people have lost their lives. Defying curfew, protesters have stormed the office of Nepal’s largest party, Nepali Congress, and residences of several prominent politicians. Young Nepalis took to the streets in capital Kathmandu to protest against corruption. Tensions escalated after the govt. announced it was blocking several social media platforms, including Instagram, YouTube, X and Facebook, WhatsApp in an attempt to tackle misinformation, fraud and hate speech on the platforms. Irony, they only banned citizens but the govt officials and their kids were using it.
