{"content":"South Korean President says his country can’t afford U.S demands. So, there will be no investment of $350 billion in U.S.
U.S demands that South Korea should invest $350 billion into America in exchange for the removal of punishing tariffs.
President Lee Jae Myung response - “Without a currency swap, if we were to withdraw $350 billion in the manner that the U.S. is demanding and to invest this ALL IN CASH in the U.S., South Korea would face a situation as it had in the 1997 financial crisis.”
South Koreans also felt bad as more than 300 South Korean workers were arrested recently at a Hyundai Motor battery plant in Georgia. Trump administration published images of them in shackles and President has warned it could make companies wary of investing in the United States.
