Solana SOLUSDT is trading at 208 and reflecting a robust 5.85 percent increase in the previous 24 hours. The price has rebounded sharply after a recent fall and is now testing the higher points of short-term resistance. The short-term moving averages MA7 at 204 and MA25 at 198 have rolled over upwards crossing over the long-term MA99 at 196 indicating a move towards short-term bullish momentum.
The initial support point is at about 198 to 200 where the MA25 sits. The area is a crucial price base where the recent rally started. The secondary support point is located around 190 the 24-hour low and a past consolidation area. In case of another price weakness the last strong support is near 168 which was the lowest level in the heavy sell-off witnessed earlier this week. This was the level at which an increase in trading volume was witnessed indicating huge buying interest and the establishment of a solid bottom.
On the resistance front SOL has its closest hurdle around 209 to 210 the new intraday high. If the price breaks above this level successfully it may move on to target the next resistance around 219 where price was rejected before. Further beyond that is a significant resistance area around 229 to 232 which was the previous top before the huge correction.
Over all SOL is in a short-term phase of recovery as buyers take the reins and momentum picks up. The crossover of the moving averages pointing higher shows possible continuation towards the 219 level if the price stays higher than 200. But if SOL drops below 190, it may indicate fresh weakness and a probable retest of the 168 support area. The technical outlook is still cautiously bullish provided the price stays higher than 198.
