Monday saw XRP recover over $2.50.
Last week, XRP investment product inflows averaged $28 million, indicating risk-on attitude.
MACD buy signals and uptrending RSI encourage short-term bullishness.
Ripple (XRP) jumps beyond $2.50 on Monday, joining Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH). The return of risk-off attitude and short-term technical analysis support XRP's optimistic cryptocurrency market forecast.
Rising XRP fund inflows bolster recovery
Cryptocurrencies like XRP defied risk-off sentiment last week, with inflows. XRP's weekly inflow volume averaged $28 million last week, boosting its AUM to $2.4 billion, according to CoinShares.
In contrast, Bitcoin and Ethereum lost $932 million and $438 million. Digital asset investment products lost $1.17 billion. CoinShares attributed withdrawals to “post-liquidity cascade volatility and uncertainty over a potential United States (US) rate cut.”

Retail XRO demand is low, with Open Interest (OI) averaging $3.36 billion on Monday compared to $4.17 billion on November 7 and $9 billion in October.
OI measures investor interest by tracking futures contract notional value. Traders should take greater risks to maintain the rally. A lowered OI shows traders doubt XRP can maintain the rally in the short to medium term.
XRP is over $2.50 on Monday after its intraday upswing was rebuffed at $2.57. If profit-taking slows recovery, the 4-hour chart's 200-period Exponential Moving Average (EMA) around $2.49 may offer initial support.
If low retail demand in the futures market and profit-taking in the spot market cause supply to exceed demand, XRP might go below the 200-period EMA to 2.40.
